Samantha Arthur was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is a recent graduate of the BFA Acting program at Rutgers University — Mason Gross School of the Arts. Before Rutgers, Samantha attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Through Booker T. Washington, Samantha worked and collaborated with the Dallas Theater Center on productions of Hair and Oklahoma! She's worked with various theatre companies around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex including the Dallas Theater Center, Shakespeare Dallas, and Casa Mañana. Just before the pandemic, Samantha spent her third year of acting training in London at Shakespeare’s Globe. She ended her stint at the Globe with a production of The Winter’s Tale as Hermione. Samantha was then a part of a COVID-19 accommodated summer stock season in Bear Lake, UT. She has also recently opened the door to the voice-over industry, and is excited to pursue opportunities with anime/character work as well as commercial work.

In the beginning of this year, Samantha was a part of the Rutgers Theater Company Playwrights Festival. She originated the role of Becca in Sam Hankins' Break (directed by Knud Adams). Samantha ended her time at Rutgers with a Antigone (directed by David Esbjornson) as the role of Antigone. She is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
